Lee FlexEd ofrece clases para estudiantes homeschool y de escuelas privadas en el condado de Lee

The School District of Lee County is launching Lee FlexEd, a new program for homeschool and private school students. It lets students use the Florida Empowerment Scholarship to take certain classes at local public schools.

Students can sign up for classes in JROTC, the arts, and Career Academies. These are in-person classes at Lee County school campuses.

Lee FlexEd is a fee-based program. Families can use their scholarship funds to pay for the classes. Some programs may also let students join certain extra-curricular activities.

The district is still working on the full list of courses and costs. More information will be ready in July.

Families who are interested should fill out a short survey for each student. This will help the district plan the final class list. Once the courses and costs are ready, the district will share that information with families who filled out the survey.
